Professional Accomplishments: Employed with Miami-Dade County Public School System for 38 years. Served as Teacher, Truant Officer, Principal, Area Director and Area Superintendent.

Professional and Community Involvement: Member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church; Member of Miami-Dade County Public Schools Diversity, Equity; Member of AARP; Member of the FAMU’s Miami Alumni Gold Coast Chapter; Volunteer Teacher of English to Spanish speakers (ESOL); Life member of the FAMU Alumni Association; Member of Hadley Park Homeowners and Resident Association; Veteran of the United States Army.

Honors and Awards: FAMU Honor Graduate (Summer Class of 1958); Miami-Dade 1993 Ida Baker Distinguished Minority Education Recognition Award; Miami-Dade Board Trustees of The Black Archives History Research Foundation of South Florida, Inc.; Board of Miami City Commissioners appreciation award for beginning the school for pregnant teenage girls---C.O.P.E. Center

Other Accomplishments: Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police (Opa-Locka, Fl); served as Administrative Assistant to the City of Manager (Opa-Locka, F.); Piloted the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Feeder Pattern concept.
