Minca Brantley
Dr. Minca Brantley is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Miami Beach, FL. With a specialization in health and medical psychology, her primary interest is overall wellness and her goal is to help individuals live their best lives. Dr. Brantley earned her master’s and doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Her training includes cognitive-behavioral treatment, health psychology, medical psychology, trauma, and substance abuse. Currently, she teaches a variety of psychology courses as Professor of Psychology in the department of Social Sciences at Miami Dade College. Because of her hard work and dedication to helping others live their best lives, Dr. Brantley was awarded the 2014 Hank Meyer Endowed Teaching Chair Award. In addition to her work at the College, Dr. Brantley works as a community consultant and conducts professional self-development trainings, as well as develops and delivers various life wellness workshops and group trainings within her area of expertise. Dr. Brantley has also taken on multiple roles in her community to help individuals reach optimal psychological health. Dr. Brantley offers a variety of consultation services in life improvement, mental health, social adaptability, and wellness.
Dr. Brantley’s fortuitous life also includes her amazing husband and lively and brilliant 7 year-old-daughter. As a family, they work hard to serve their community and engage in various community service activities. They love to indulge in many of life’s cuisines and are a very active family. When Dr. Brantley isn’t training for marathons she loves to travel abroad and experience all that life has to offer.
