Jorge Vasquez
Jorge Vasquez has been with the Community Improvement Board since 2017, and has been serving the Allapattah community for over twelve years conceptualizing, developing and facilitating the implementation of projects related to the diverse population and cultures in Allapattah and various City of Miami neighborhoods.
Jorge has partnered with Commissioner Willy Gort’s community outreaches for the past four years servicing the needs of children and families through toy giveaways, back to school supplies, resources and creating a safe environment within the neighborhood. Jorge dedicates volunteer time weekly teaching kids ages 5 – 12 years old as well as leading young teenagers for the past twelve years. He is passionate to see the Allapattah community enhanced and transformed.
