The Office of Code Compliance believes in utilizing Bike Certified Code Inspectors to service areas more frequently by moving through congested areas with relative ease. Bicycles are adapted specifically for inspectors, who successfully complete a rigorous three-day training given by the Miami Police Department Bike Unit before being certified. We are proud to currently have a 13 inspector bike unit.
The South District is comprised of the Brickell, Coconut Grove, Shenandoah, Coral Way, Flagami and Little Havana areas.
The Central District is comprised of the Downtown, Midtown, Wynwood, Allapattah and Overtown areas.
The North District is comprised of the Upper Eastside, Buena Vista, Morningside, Baypoint and Little Haiti areas.
The Revenue Task Force works city wide to identify unlicensed businesses within the city and facilitating the process of applying and obtaining the proper certificate of use and business tax receipt.
Community Champions has entered into a partnership with the city of Miami to manage their property registration program. An integral part of the program is guiding RP's (Responsible Parties) such as financial institutions, attorneys, realtors etc to out app to register the properties as required in accordance with the enacted ordinance.
