Legal Internship Program

The Office of the City Attorney offers an excellent opportunity for 2L and 3L law students to participate as interns during the Fall, Spring and Summer Semesters. This is an unparalleled opportunity to explore a career in the challenging practice of municipal law. Students will gain practical legal experience by working closely with attorney supervisors on a variety of substantive legal matters including, civil litigation, land use, labor and employment, commercial and general government law. Students will be expected to comply with their school's clinical program guidelines.

Application Procedures: Deadline for application is based on your school's deadlines. Please submit a resume, a writing sample, and unofficial transcript to your school's clinical placement program.

Application Procedure for those not facilitated through a school program: Deadline for application is during the first week of October for Spring, the first week of April for Summer and the first week of June for Fall. Please submit a letter of interest, resume, two writing samples, unofficial transcript, and list of references to:
