- The City of Miami only accepts
applications for positions for which we
are currently recruiting. Please return
to our job
openings page for the
current recruitment listing.
- Applicants must carefully read the
entire job posting, especially
the "Documents" and "Notes" sections.
- Be sure to submit whatever
documentation is required with the
application, or risk disqualification.
- Applicants claiming veteran's preference
in accordance with
Florida State Statute
295
, must also complete the Veteran's
Preference Form and submit a certified
copy of their DD 214.
- If claiming
disabled veteran's preference, a letter
from Veteran's Affairs dated within the
past year, which indicates level of
disability must be submitted with the
application by the closing date.
- A separate application is needed for
each position for which an applicant
wishes to be considered.
