Holiday / Vacation

This page identifies federal holidays observed by the City of Miami. Holiday pay is determined by the provisions of the respective collective bargaining agreements.

Following is a list of holidays, non-paid and paid. The City will close on the dates indicated, with the exception of those offices that must render continuous service. The terms under payment for holidays are as negotiated by collective bargaining, or set by City policy, for each of the full-time employee groups.
