This page identifies federal
holidays observed by the City of Miami. Holiday
pay is determined by the provisions of the
respective collective bargaining agreements.
Following is a list of holidays, non-paid and
paid. The City will
close on the dates indicated, with the exception
of those offices that must render continuous
service. The terms under payment for holidays
are as negotiated by collective bargaining, or
set by City policy, for each of the full-time
employee groups.

*IAFF bargaining unit members with the
exception of personnel on 40-hour assignments
