The Adult Day Training (ADT) is a day training program for adults
(22 years or older) intended to support the participation of
individuals in daily, valued routines
of the community. The
program includes work settings that do not meet the definition of
supported employment.
The ADT program is designed to better serve
participants with a specific schedule of activities that are planned
around their interests and abilities to maximize individual
potentials.
All services will focus on training the
participants in activities of daily living skills, self-advocacy,
adaptive and
social skills that are age and culturally
appropriate to foster independence. The program is a minimum of six
hours per day, for one or more days per week. The ADT program
operates 240 days of the year.
In addition, we have realized
there is an immediate need to serve young adults transitioning from
the school
system into the community; therefore we are
implementing a curriculum based program that can satisfy their
interests and be age and developmentally appropriate.
We
currently accept the following funding opportunities: Agency for
Persons with Disabilities (APD) Waivers (i.e., Developmentally
Disabled Home and
Community Services (DD-HCBS) private pay and
APD Non-Contracted funding. For more information call Adine Sadine
