Art in Public Places (AIPP)

On January 12, 2017, the City of Miami Commission pursuant to Ordinance No. #13657 re-established the Art in Public Places Program. The Program seeks to create a stimulating and diverse cultural environment that reflects, defines, and enhances the City's heritage, values, and visions for the future through art integrated into the architecture, infrastructure, and landscape. The Art in Public Places Program specifies that 1.5% of eligible public capital improvement project funds be set aside for the commission, purchase and installation of artworks in a variety of public settings.
